Johnnie M. Lituma – CEO

Mr. Lituma manages the Asbestos Department providing technical review of inspections, management plans, field monitoring, construction and laboratory services as well as associated quality assurance. He has been responsible for asbestos abatement projects for public and private clients including numerous school systems in Massachusetts

Mr. Lituma has performed asbestos abatement project monitoring in a variety of buildings throughout Massachusetts. His responsibilities on asbestos removal projects have included overseeing contractor performance and procedures, documenting daily activities, performing visual inspections, acting as liaison between client and contractor, conducting air monitoring, and preparing final reports Mr. Lituma has accumulated an impressive work record during his years in the asbestos abatement and consulting field. He started his career in Massachusetts, where the most stringent asbestos regulations in the New England area exist.

Mr. Lituma has hands on field experience, resolving abatement contractor work issues/discrepancies to meet regulatory requirements and tight schedules with special consideration for building occupants. He has developed site-specific specifications and when needed, designed abatement work plans approved by the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP). His asbestos inspection experience has earned a very respectable reputation in the industry.

Asbestos Inspection Activities at Buildings and Residential Facilities.

Mr. Lituma has been involved in the inspection of over 100 buildings in Massachusetts. The inspection process includes all records review, materials sampling, noting site-specific conditions, and preparing a final inspection report with cost estimates for remediation strategies developed in consultation with the client. Mr. Lituma prepared management plans for buildings inspected, with operation and maintenance programs, and issues recommendations for abatement including multiple phased work areas, repair or enclosure.

Non- Traditional Asbestos Work Plan at Buildings and Residential Facilities.

Mr. Lituma has been involved in the design of non-traditional work plan of over 50 building between commercial, schools and residential throughout Massachusetts. The design process includes all records review, materials sampling, noting site-specific conditions, and preparing a non-traditional abatement work plan with cost estimates for remediation strategies developed in consultation with the client.

Mr. Lituma provided asbestos inspections, non-traditional abatement work plan and monitoring services including visual inspection.

When Johnnie is not working, he enjoys spending time traveling with his family or being in the beach and pool with his family and friends. He is very enthusiastic about rebuilding projects around his home, there is always a work in progress.
